The resort
Pauoa Beach is a gated oceanfront community between the Fairmont Orchid and Mauna Lani, Auberge Collection Resort. The Kohala Coast has a desert climate: warm, sunny and clear almost every day of the year.
Pauoa Beach Club is complimentary for guests: a 110-foot negative edge pool, lounges, umbrellas, locker rooms, outdoor massage pavilions, a sand-bottom baby pool and a fitness center. The calm lagoon beside it is good for swimming, snorkeling and paddle boarding, and turtles often rest on the shore.
The Shops at Mauna Lani are about a 10-minute walk or a short drive, with a gourmet market, shops, restaurants and free cultural events. All Mauna Lani rentals can play 36 holes at the Francis H. I'i Brown Golf Course and walk to the private Mauna Lani Beach Club, with its white sand beach, beachfront restaurant and good snorkeling.
